There have been a lot of questions coming to us regarding the grid size and location for the 2017 Amateur Long Drive™ Championship. The good news….there was a Remax Long Drive Qualifier held there a few years ago. These guys already have the best part of their range allocated for the grid. I’ve attached a preliminary layout. to show an approximation of the grid final layout. Right now we see this grid being 60 yards wide by 380 yards long. It can go to 400 if necessary, but we don’t expect drives of that length at sea level…especially on a humid day in August. But, if any of you big hitters can knock it out of the grid, more power to you.
