We’re happy to announce that in addition to the live streaming on both days of the 2017 Amateur Long Drive World Championship we have secured one hour of live broadcast television for the ALD Open World Championship Saturday from 5 PM until 6 PM. WWMB CW 21 will air the Open World Championship with production from Luck Dog Television.

We will be live streaming (to https://amateurlongdrive.com & http://Facebook.com/AmateurLongDrive) both days (Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th).

The event will consist of: Qualifying Rounds | Competition Rounds | Championship Rounds | Open World Championship Rounds

Here’s how the schedule looks as of today:

Friday August 25th

9 AM – 11 AM – ParaLong Drive Practice and ALDC Open Qualifying

1 PM – 5 PM – ParaLong Drive Competition Rounds

7 PM – 9 PM – Pizza Party Legends Clubhouse

Saturday August 26th

8 AM – 9 AM – Last Chance to Qualify for ALDC

10 AM – 1 PM ALDC Competition Rounds

2 PM – 4:30 PM ALDC and ParaLong Drive Championship Rounds

During the Championship Rounds will crown Amateur World Champions and ParaLong Drive Champions in each division.

Any competitor to hit a qualifying drive during their competition rounds will be eligible for the Open World Championship. The Open ‘World Championship is a showdown between the top ParaLong Drive and Amateur Long Drive competitors. The total number going to the Open will be determined by the number of ParaLong Drive qualifiers. Example: If 6 male ParaLong Drive competitors hit qualifying drives, we will take the six top male amateurs to the Open. The amateur competitors could come from any division. We will follow the same process for women. We will crown an Amateur Long Drive Women’s Open World Champion and an Amateur Long Drive Men’s Open World Champion.

Clarification: The ParaLong Drive guidelines allow for professional long drive competitors. The ALDC guidelines do not. ParaLong Drive competitors with professional status will not be eligible to compete in the Open.

5 PM – 6 PM – ALD Open World Championship
