ParaLong Drive Cup Comes To Myrtle Beach

The 2017 Amateur Long Drive™ Championship (ALD) welcomes Founder, Dean Jarvis and The ParaLong Drive Cup to Myrtle Beach. The ParaLong Drive Cup will be held prior to the ALD finals. ParaLong Drive Cup qualifiers will compete in their associated divisions in the ALD. The ParaLong Drive Cup has some of the longest hitting amateur competitors in the world. Although it’s too early to post the list of competitors, it is hoped the reigning 2016 champion Jarod Brentz will attend. Jarod, a double below-the-knee amputee holds the (ParaLong Drive) world record of 409 yards. Another regular hitter in this event Brendon Jacks holds the second longest drive at 401 yards. Both these drives were accomplished in Mesquite Nevada in 2014. The ParaLong Drive Cup is always a star-studded event with competitors traveling from all across the United States and Canada to compete in several divisions. We’ll post the entries as they are confirmed.
